Australian singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, and philanthropist, Kylie Minogue, got her big break when she starred in popular Australian soap opera, Neighbors. She went on to become a hugely successful recording artist, often being called the �Goddess of Pop�, with her most recent album having been released in 2018. Minogue famously beat breast cancer several years ago, becoming a hero for those suffering from the disease. She also made a cameo in the classic musical film, Moulin Rouge.

Lola Falana

Singer, dancer, and actress Lola Falana was actually discovered by Sammy Davis Jr. who gave her a role in his Broadway musical, Golden Boy, in 1964. Davis Jr. became her mentor, casting her in a number of his productions as well as helping her with her musical career, but in 1969 she ended their close working relationship. They remained on good terms and he still helped her further her career but she said �If I didn’t break away, I would always be known as the little dancer with Sammy Davis Jr… I wanted to be known as something more.� She indeed became much more, a successful performer in her own right, as well as becoming known as the �Black Venus�. She suffered a severe relapse of multiple sclerosis in 1987 leaving her with multiple health problems. She attributes her recovery to her religious beliefs and practices.

Melanie Griffith

Melanie Griffith began her acting career in 1969, appearing in a few films as an extra, but she really got her first big break in 1984 with her role in Body Double. Since then, Griffith has featured in numerous film and television shows with her latest film in 2017, Dabka, also known as The Pirates of Somalia. Griffith is also a dedicated philanthropist, being particularly dedicated to sick children in hospital.

Diane Lane began her acting career in 1971 and is probably best known for her performances in Unfaithful, The Outsiders, A Perfect Storm, Under the Tuscan Sun, and for her role as Martha Kent in Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. She played the mother to The Man of Steel fantastically, even if Batman vs Superman was one of the most disappointing superhero films of our time.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen began modeling and by 1989 she was named �Model of the Year� for Cover Girl Magazine. That publicity helped her get her first television role on popular high school sitcom, Saved by the Bell, as the gorgeous Kelly Kapowski. She went on to star in a number of films and television shows until she began hosting her own foodie show on the Cooking Channel, Dinner at Tiffani’s, in 2015.
